Storm of the Century

This tells the tale of Bluestar and stormkit and the whole of Thunderclan.

Bluestar walked out of her den and stretched.The clan seemed tensed as if any moment something was going to break.Bluestar raised her head to-wards Starclan but seen nothing except dark rolling clouds."Bluestar!" Rushingwater Thunderclan's pretty silver medicine cat came running up in distress. "Yes Rushingwater what is it?" Bluestar said tensed she felt uneasy about the tension and fear that was filling the air. "I have received a message from Starclan! I know it's obvious but a terrible storm is coming1 Starclan showed me images of a terrible tunnel of wind that destroys everything in its path even the twolegs!" Rushingwater was very worried but remained calm. "What on earth are we to do! Nothing has harmed the twolegs before!" Bluestar exclaimed. Rushingwater shook her head in dismay, then her eyes popped open with a bright look. "We will make are own tunnel!" She meowed. Bluestar stared at her not getting what she meant. "How could we make a wind destroying tunnel?" She exclaimed. Rushingwater sighed. "Not that kind of tunnel a tunnel that goes under the ground like highstones! We need are strongest warriors to do this we have enough time to make a decent sized tunnel for the clan to get in shelter!" Rushingwater mewed in excitement. Bluestar thought it over then spoke while nodding her head. "Rushingwater you are the brightest cat in the whole of starclan this just might work!" Rushingwater had a smirk on her face as she nodded her amusement showing in her eyes.Bluestar spoke loud as she leaped onto the highrocks. "All cats of thunderclan come forth to the highrocks!" As Bluestar meowed cats emerged from the bracken and stared at their leader. "Rushingwater has seen the signs of starclan a terrible storm that will even destroy twolegs is coming." Cats shrieked with terror but Bluestar continued loudly. "However Rushingwater has come up with a brilliant idea we will dig a tunnel into the ground to get away from the storm!" Cats calmed but still remained terrorized. Bluestar glared down at her clan "We are thunderclan cats are we not!" She exclaimed. Cats gave a triumph and yowled back to their leader ":WE ARE THUNDERCLAN!" Bluestar smiled "We must hurry and dig Pinstripe,Dustpelt,Sunpelt, and Luminousfur help me dig! Featherfoot,Rushingwater,Leafcoat, and Brackenleaf catch as much prey as you can and look for herbs we will need them! Frosteyes,Longears,Nightpelt, and Morninglory make sure you have all the kits and once the tunnel is dug make sure everyone is inside." Bluestar directed. "What are you going to do?" Said Swallowflight Thunderclan's Deputy. "I am going to see how far the storm is from the clan." Bluestar replied. Swallowflight gave a sorrowful look to Bluestar. "Be careful Bluestar." Bluestar touched noses with him "I Will." With that Bluestar leaped from the rocks over the bracken fence and streaked off. Swallowflight watched her go. Bluestar streaked across the rolling hills of Windclan all the way to highstones. She paused and did what no cat would dare do she leaped on top of highstones and stared in terror. The wind tunnel was coming fast towards her. She leaped off the rocks and ran as fast as she could into the woods. The draft off air was terrible and the trees shaken to their roots. Bluestar was lifted from her feet for a second and then tossed back down. A faint cry came from highstones Bluestar listened over the roar from the tunnel of wind.Yes there it was again. Bluestar stared hard the tunnel was almost to the highstones, but just in front was a small silver kit. Bluestar streaked to-wards it and grasped it between her jaws and turned to run.The tunnel was right behind her as she ran through the forest. She burst into the camp and just in time she leaped into the ground just when the tunnel was over her. everyone stared at her. "Is everyone here?" Bluestar growled. Swallowflight was no where in sight. "WHERES SWALLOWFLIGHT!" Bluestar shrieked. Pinstripe looked at the ground no cat answered. Bluestar went back outside and stared in horror the camp was gone. Trees were flattened and it looked like the windclan camp.A pelt lay on the ground a dark brown one with white paws. Bluestar stared as a trickle of liquid fell from her eyes. She ran to-wards the cat. "Swallowflight are you okay!" Swallowflight said nothing. Bluestar layed there by her old friend for along time. Swallowflight coughed hard and his eyes opened slightly. "Bluestar is that you?" He mewed weakly. Bluestar smiled her relief filled her eyes. "Swallowflight you'll be fine Rushingwater come quick!" Bluestar yowled. Moments later the silver tabby came streaking up to them. "Help SwalloWflight he is injured." Bluestar said. Rushingwater nodded and went back into the tunnel. After several minutes she appeared with a bundle of herbs. "Eat them." Rushingwater directed Swallowflight. The injured tom obeyed but made a face when he had swallowed them. "What is this mouse bile!" He exclaimed. Rushingwater let out a purr of amusement. "Worse its healing herbs." She said. Bluestar went back into the tunnel and found the little kit and brought it to Rushingwater. "What do you think I found her at highstones before the wind tunnel came.'' Rushingwater's eyes were wide. "She is a gift from Starclan I do believe her name should be Stormkit!" The she-cat mewed. Bluestar nodded "It's a miracle she survived."
